In-app notifications
When logged in, the bell icon in the top navigation opens your notification list.
You can:
- View up to 30 recent notifications with title, body, and timestamp.
- Mark as read on individual items.
- Mark all read in one action.
- Follow links inside notifications (often to Tracker entries).
- Open Tracker from the panel footer.
Notifications are created when relevant events happen — for example, application status changes.

Control email behavior in Settings.
Email preferences
Deadline reminders
When enabled, BoardingPass emails you about upcoming application deadlines you set on Tracker entries.
Turn this off if you prefer in-app tracking only.
Status updates
When enabled, you receive email when an application status changes in the tracker (e.g. Saved → Applied → Interview).
Preferences save automatically
Settings save automatically after you change a toggle or the email frequency. Email address edits save a moment after you stop typing, as long as the address is valid.
What BoardingPass does not email today
- Marketing or promotional messages
- Instant job alerts (use Job match alerts on Settings for daily or weekly digests instead)
- Challenge approval notifications by email (check the submission workspace and gallery)
