Understanding results
Each result shows:
- Job title and company
- Summary of the role
- Match badge — roles ranked Recommended for you when they align with your skills and profile keywords
- Apply link — opens the official posting on the company or government site
Save a job to your tracker
- Log in (guests can search but cannot save).
- Click Save on a result you want to track.
- BoardingPass creates a tracker entry automatically — company, title, and URL are prefilled.
Unsave removes the saved job from your tracker list.
Apply and tailor
- Click Apply on a saved role to open the guided-apply dialog.
- Choose Open if you just want the employer posting, or Apply with resume if you want to attach a saved resume to this application flow first.
- In Apply with resume, pick an existing Resume Lab draft or uploaded PDF.
- If you do not have the right version yet, use Generate tailored resume to jump into Resume Lab with that job's context prefilled.
- BoardingPass opens the employer site in a new tab. If you selected a resume, BoardingPass first exports that saved version to PDF for you to use during the application.
- Return to Tracker and set status to Applied when done.

Catalog freshness
Job postings are synced from official feeds (Greenhouse boards, MyCareersFuture, Careers@Gov) via server cron routes. Stale listings are removed on sync. Operators run sync manually in most environments — see developer docs docs/GREENHOUSE_SYNC.md.

- Set a deadline on the tracker entry if the posting has a closing date.
