Account and login
How do I create an account?
Go to Sign up with email, Google, or LinkedIn. See Getting started.
I logged in with Google but landed on onboarding
New accounts without education data are sent through onboarding. Complete step 1 or skip steps to reach the Dashboard.
OAuth login failed or redirected incorrectly
Try again in a private browser window. Ensure you use the same provider you signed up with. If the problem persists, your project admin may need to verify redirect URLs in Supabase — production should include https://boardingpass.work/auth/callback.
How do I log out?
Click Logout in the top navigation.
Profile and dashboard
What is the difference between Dashboard and Resume Lab?
- Dashboard — edit profile sections, upload PDF, account settings links.
- Resume Lab — AI review, evidence inventory, generate/tailor drafts, saved versions.

My public profile is empty
Enable the toggle in Account details, ensure profile sections have content, and approve Experience gallery submissions for portfolio items.
Jobs and tracker
Job search is slow or stuck
Agent searches often take 30–90 seconds. Wait for polling to finish. If it fails, try another company or keywords. Check your network connection.
I cannot save a job
You must be logged in. Guests can search but not save. Sign up or log in.
Where is my saved job?
Open Tracker. Saving from Jobs creates an application automatically.
How do I set a reminder for a deadline?
Set a deadline date on the tracker entry and enable Deadline reminders in Settings.
Is there a “Due soon” filter?
Not today. Use deadlines on individual applications and email reminders. Sort and filter by status on Tracker.
Resume Lab
Resume upload failed
Use a PDF file. Very large files may fail — try a smaller export from your editor. Re-upload from Dashboard or Resume Lab.
Review shows wrong or missing evidence
PDF parsing works best on text-based resumes (not scanned images). Update your PDF and run Review again.
Can I edit an uploaded PDF directly?
No — load a generated draft into the editor. PDFs appear in the saved panel as documents only.
Tailoring seems generic
Use Saved job mode with a tracker application for best context. Job role only mode has lower confidence.
Experience challenges
I cannot start a challenge
You must be logged in. Click Start challenge on the challenge detail page.
Submit button is disabled
Ensure you are in Preview state with a valid portfolio URL. Return to draft if you need to edit fields.
My submission is not in the gallery
Gallery listing requires admin approval after submit. Check submission status in your workspace.
Notifications
I am not getting emails
- Confirm toggles on Settings.
- Check spam/junk folders.
- Verify the email on your account is correct (shown on settings page).
Status emails fire when you change tracker status. Deadline emails require a deadline date on the application.
Roles and access
I need partner portal access
Ask a BoardingPass admin to invite your org. See Partner help.
I need admin access
Admin role is assigned in the database by the project team — not self-service.
