Calibur Workshop Inventory System
Replaced a multi-tab Excel stocktake. Invite-only inventory site (600+ tracked items, 50 members) plus an RFID lock-and-weigh storage box prototype.
Overview
- Replaced a multi-tab Excel stocktake that could not show who took what
- Invite-only website: 600+ tracked items, 50 members, Admin/User roles
- Check-out, partial returns, dashboard, searchable history and issue reporting
- Phase 2 prototype: RFID lock-and-weigh storage box
- RC522 RFID identifies the member, servo latch opens, microswitch relocks
- Load cell weighs before and after to work out quantity and checkout vs return
- Arduino over USB to a Flask backend checking Supabase, with a control-center page
- Known limit: RFID reader flaky on the 3.3 V rail, so a simulate-tap button keeps demos safe
